The Flame Proof enclosures consist of study
cast iron parts which are mechanically robust
and very liberally designed. The cast iron
enclosure of the motors is built to withstand
any internal explosion.
The gaps of the joint and where the shaft
passes through the flame are so dimensioned
as to prevent transmission of igniting flame
to the surrounding atmosphere. The motors are
so designed that the flame temperature will
remain below the ignition temperature of the
gas-air mixture involved.

of IEC Standard. This series motor are designed
and manufacturing into Flame Proof type and
the Flame Proof property conforms to Indian
Standards IS : 2148 and are also inline with
the requirements of Flame Proof Enclosure.
These motors can be manufactured for special
environments, such as outdoor location(IP55
Type) indoor tropical humidity , outdoor tropical
humidity, indoor tropical arid , outdoor tropical
arid, indoor tropical , outdoor tropical and
outdoor middle class chemical corrosion locations.
